**Certified Surgical Technician CST Specialist Fulltime Nights**

_Fast-paced, high-volume Surgery department is looking for skilled CSTs. Is that you?_

MUST HAVE 2 YEARS OF CST EXPERIENCE

Work location: Texas Health Fort Worth Harris, 1301 Pennsylvania Ave, Ft Worth, TX 76104

Work hours: Full Time Nights, 36 hours per week

Surgery Department Highlights:

1. Robust Unit Based Council (UBC) and engaged leadership team
2. Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 75 surgeries/day
3. Level I Trauma candidate performing high-acuity and intense surgical procedures, capable of providing excellent clinical experience to the new hire
4. Robotics, complex spine and ortho trauma, and intricate plastic surgery cases are the highlights of surgical offerings at THFW

Education

High school diploma or equivalent, with prior employment practicing surgical technology in a healthcare facility before September 1, 2009, required. Alternatively, graduation from an accredited surgical technology program, vocational nurse program, or military training program in surgical technology is preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 2 years recent experience in a surgical service specialty (robotics, cardiovascular/hearts, orthopedics, neurology) with at least 150 cases performed in that specialty, required.

Licenses and Certifications

• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist, graduate of an accredited surgical tech program, required upon hire
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist, employed in a healthcare facility before September 1, 2009, required upon hire
• CST - Military training program graduate/completion, required upon hire
• LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse, required upon hire
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support, prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly, required upon hire
