Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions is hiring a Certified Surgical Technician (CST) for a 13-week contract in Carlsbad, NM. Ideal candidates should have over 2 years of surgical technician experience and a valid BLS certification.

This role involves working 4x10 hour shifts from 7 AM to 5:30 PM with on-call responsibilities. Experience in various surgical procedures and both adult and pediatric care is essential. The facility has a patient ratio of 1:1 and will provide hospital scrubs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of surgical technician experience required.
• BLS certification needed for this role.
• Familiarity with general, orthopedic, OBGYN, podiatry, urology, plastic, endoscopic, trauma, and robotics surgical procedures is a must.
• Experience with both adults and pediatric patients is necessary.
• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential required.

Responsibilities

• Provide surgical assistance during procedures in the operating room.
• Manage and organize surgical instruments and sterile fields.
• Ensure safety and comfort for patients pre, during, and post-surgery.

Skills

2+ years of experience as a surgical technician

Job Summary

Certified Surgical Technician (CST) position for a 13‑week contract in Carlsbad, NM. Working 4x10hr days, 7a‑5:30p, with call responsibility.

Schedule & Call

• Days: 7a‑5:30p, 4x10hr shifts.
• Call: 1 weekday per week minimum; weekend rotation. On‑call shifts Monday‑Friday 15:30‑07:00, Saturday & Sunday 07:00‑07:00.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as a surgical technician.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience with general, orthopaedic, OBGYN, podiatry, urology, plastic, endoscopic, trauma, and robotics (DaVinci) procedures.
• Adult and pediatric experience required.
• Certified Surgical Technician (CST) credential from CAAHEP‑accredited program or equivalent.
• Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico travelers.
