AdventHealth in Castle Rock, Colorado is seeking a Staff Flex OR support professional for PRN day shifts. The role involves pre-operative care, specimen handling, and maintaining sterile operating room conditions across procedural teams.

This position emphasizes flexibility within AdventHealth facilities and opportunities to convert to permanent staff. Required are 2+ years of technical experience and a Technical/Vocational School credential, with BLS certification mandatory and ACLS/PALS

Qualificações

• Must have completed technical/vocational schooling.
• Minimum 2+ years of technical experience required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provides patients with supportive care during pre-operative phases.
• Collects and labels specimens obtained during surgical procedures.
• Conducts instrument counts prior to surgical procedures.
• Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning, and draping patients.
• Conducts field preparation and maintenance.
• Ensures the operating room is sterile.
• Monitors and tracks instrument counts throughout procedures.
• Maintains surgical instruments in an organized manner.
• Assists the team with safe and efficient operating room turnover times.
• Other duties as assigned.
