About the Position

Our client, who has several hospitals in the Raleigh, NC area, has a need for Surgical Techs to join their team. These are 8, 10, or 12‑hour day shifts available. Candidates must be a Certified Surgical Technician. A minimum of one year of clinical experience is preferred.

Sign‑On Incentives

• $5,000 – 12 month commitment agreement
• $10,000 – 24 month commitment agreement
• $15,000 – 36 month commitment agreement

*Payouts are split into two payments and are taxable at IRS bonus rate.

Responsibilities

The Surgical Technician is an allied health professional who is an integral part of the team of medical practitioners providing surgical care to a variety of patient populations. Functions under the supervision of a surgeon or registered nurse to ensure that the operating room environment is safe, that equipment functions properly, and that the operative procedure is conducted under conditions that maximize patient safety. Applies sterile and aseptic technique that combines the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation of tools and technologies to facilitate a physician’s performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

Experience Requirements

One year of clinical experience as a surgical technician is preferred.

Education Required

High school diploma or equivalent.

Graduated from a surgical technology program, or military surgical technology qualification.

Licensure/Certification Requirements

Certified Surgical Technologist required.
