Job summary

Sierra View Medical Center in Porterville, CA is currently recruiting a Certified Surgical Technician for full-time, on-site work. The role supports the surgical team under supervision of the Unit Director and Clinical Manager, with duties including OR room prep, instrument handling, and turnover between cases.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from a Surgical Technology program.
• National Surgical Technology certification required; BLS certification at orientation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in OR room preparation and case setup.
• Gown and glove surgeon as needed.
• Maintain instrument counts and sterilization.
• Turn over the Operating Room and prepare for next patient.
