Surgery Partners seeks a Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team. You will assist surgeons and nurses in procedures, maintaining a sterile, safe environment before, during, and after operations.

This role supports a collaborative OR team including anesthesiologists and registered nurses. The position emphasizes patient care, attention to sterility, and efficient workflow within a busy surgical setting.

Qualificações

• Must hold current CST certification as required by state regulations.
• Must maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

General Summary of Duties

Surgical Technologists, also known as Scrub Technologists, Surgical Technicians, or Operating Room Technicians, assist in surgical procedures under the direction and supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel.

As a vital member of the operating room team, the Surgical Technologist helps ensure a safe, efficient, and sterile environment before, during, and after surgical procedures. Operating room teams commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, registered nurses, and surgical technologists working collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care.

Education, Experience & Requirements

Required

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification, as required by state regulations.
  • Individuals who qualify under applicable state grandfathering provisions may be exempt from certification requirements.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred

• Candidates with zero (0) to two (2) years of related clinical experience may be considered.
