Qualifications

• Surgical Technology Certification or LPN license is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Cleans equipment per department/hospital procedures.
• Prepares sterile fields and sets up cases with correct instruments.
• Maintains sterile field at all times.
• Assists in counting sponges, needles, and instruments with an OR circulating RN.
• Inserts Foleys under RN supervision.
• Operates department equipment with proper safety and troubleshooting.
