Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalency, NBSTSA certification, BLS, and preferred 1 year OR/neurology experience.

Competenze

• Preferred 1 year Operating Room related experience.
• Preferred 1 year Neurology related experience NBSTSA.
• National NBSTSA Certification required.
• BLS required.

Mansioni

• Prepares and maintains the sterile field and ensures instruments, drapes, and supplies remain free of microorganisms.
• Passes instruments, sponges, and sutures swiftly and anticipates surgeon's needs.
• Performs counts of sponges, needles, and instruments with a nurse before and after surgery.
• Sterilizes the OR and sets up equipment including robotic or laparoscopic tools.
• Assists with patient positioning, incision prep, and dressing after surgery.
• Cleans and restocks the OR and prepares instruments for decontamination.
