Qualifications

• Excellent English reading, writing, and speaking skills.
• Aseptic/sterile technique knowledge and surgical instrumentation familiarity.
• Knowledge of healthcare concepts, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Up-to-date knowledge of surgical instruments for hand surgeons.
• Proficiency with basic computer use and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to follow surgeon instructions and work with a team.
• Willingness to adapt to a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Anticipates the needs of the surgeon and informs the circulating nurse.
• Maintains high standards and supports cost savings and containment.
• Assembles all necessary supplies, equipment, and medications prior to the procedure.
• Supports customer and employee satisfaction activities and maintains good relationships.
• Monitors aseptic technique and corrects breaks in technique.
• Identifies regulatory concerns and ensures policy compliance.
• Supervises team members and aids in orientation and training.
• Promotes a safe environment and manages emergency situations.
