Qualifications

• 0–2 years OR experience required.
• CST certification preferred or required.
• Technical School or associate degree in surgical tech.

Responsibilities

• Prepare OR and ensure instruments and supplies are ready.
• Maintain sterile field throughout procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments.
• Inspect and sterilize instruments per policy.
• Document counts with circulating nurse for safety.
• Assist with patient positioning and room setup for cases.
• Restock supplies and prepare rooms for next cases.
