Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain the CST credential.
• Current CPR card required (BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross).
• Two years of OR technician experience required; 2-year degree or 4-year degree in surgical technology or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and maintain sterile field integrity.
• Communicate effectively with circulator, nurse, patient, surgeon, anesthesia and other departments.
• Assist in exposure, hemostasis, closure and intraoperative tasks to aid the surgeon.
