Job summary

Resurrection Medical Center in Chicago is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist for the Operating Room. The role requires on-site work with full-time shifts and on-call duties. You will prep sterile supplies, maintain sterile fields, and assist surgeons with instruments during procedures.

Qualified candidates have CST, ORT experience, and open heart scrub experience, plus BLS. Salary ranges from $28.00 to $38.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required for new hires.
• Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training with at least 3 years’ surgical experience.
• Current CST certification.
• Experience scrubbing minor and major procedures across general, ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro, etc.
• Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sterile supplies and instruments for each procedure.
• Maintain sterile field during case and provide surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during procedures.
