Job Summary and Qualifications

On-call duties as required.

Certified Surgical Technologists (CST) support patient care in the perioperative setting by assisting surgeons and nursing staff before, during, and after surgical procedures. They make meaningful differences in patients' lives in a fast-paced environment focused on clinical excellence.

What You Will Do In This Role

• Create and maintain the sterile field
• Prepare the Operating Room: set up sterilized instruments, position patient, assist with gloves and gowns
• Assist the surgical team: pass instruments, fluids, supplies, hold retractors, prepare equipment
• Properly count all instruments, sponges, and tools
• Assist with patient transport and transfer
• Apply safety procedures and principles in all actions

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment
• Minimum 1-year CST experience preferred
• Certification as CST, or NCCT Surgical Technician, or vocational training, or work experience in lieu of degree, or certificate
