Qualifications

• One year of experience with operative procedures, equipment, and instrumentation.
• Surgical Tech certification and CPR required.
• Two years of hospital surgical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the Physician Preference Card for each procedure.
• Coordinate with the circulating nurse to provide supplies and instruments.
• Conduct and document sponge, instrument, and needle counts.
• Continuously assess case progress and patient safety.
• Handle and label specimens.
