Job summary

Intermountain Region ASCs is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team in delivering safe, efficient patient care. You will prepare sterile fields, assist during procedures, and help ensure adherence to aseptic techniques under supervision of surgeons and nurses.

Required CST certification and BLS certification, with 0–2 years of related clinical experience preferred. This role is with a smoke-free employer and an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures under supervision of surgeons, RNs and other surgical personnel.
• Maintain sterile environment before, during, and after procedures.

General Summary of Duties

Surgical Technologists, also known as Scrub Technologists , Surgical Technicians , or Operating Room Technicians , assist in surgical procedures under the direction and supervision of surgeons, registered nurses, and other surgical personnel.

As a vital member of the operating room team, the Surgical Technologist helps ensure a safe, efficient, and sterile environment before, during, and after surgical procedures. Operating room teams commonly include surgeons, anesthesiologists, CRNAs, registered nurses, and surgical technologists working collaboratively to provide exceptional patient care.

Education, Experience & Requirements

Required

• Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification, as required by state regulations.
  • Individuals who qualify under applicable state grandfathering provisions may be exempt from certification requirements.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Preferred

• Candidates with zero (0) to two (2) years of related clinical experience may be considered.
