Job summary

Rocky Hill Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to join our great team of professionals. You will work in a fast-paced ophthalmology ambulatory setting with no weekends, holidays or on-call rotation.

This full-time position (36 hours/week) offers a wage range of $30.00–$35.00 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including health and vision insurance, paid holidays, PTO, 401k with company match, life and long-term disability insurance, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• One year OR experience preferred; ASC or orthopedic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of sterile technique, instrumentation, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Review the surgical schedule and prepare case carts, instrumentation, and supplies.
• Maintain the sterile field and practice aseptic technique.
• Assist with patient positioning, skin prep, and equipment setup as directed by the RN Circulator.
• Count instruments, sponges, and sharps; handle specimens per policy.
• Document implants, medications, and equipment usage as required.
