Samaritan Medical Center is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to support the operating room on days and nights in Watertown, NY. The role involves scrubbing, preparing patients, assisting surgeons, and maintaining a sterile environment under RN supervision. BLS is required and OR experience is preferred.

Eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance. Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program is preferred or NY LPN license eligibility; continuing education of 15

Competenze

• Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program preferred or current New York State LPN license eligible.
• Knowledge of cleaning/sterilization of equipment and instrumentation used in the operating room.
• BLS required.
• Continuing education requirements of 15 CEU's per year.

Mansioni

• Assist in Nursing care and preparation of the surgical patient under RN supervision.
• Perform routine and delegated duties according to hospital and department standards.
• Provide sterile scrubbing support and ensure proper functioning of surgical equipment.
• Assist surgeons during surgical procedures and maintain a sterile environment.
