Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program preferred or current New York State LPN license eligible.
• Approved pharmacology course or previous medication experience with successful achievement in medications exam.
• OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients in the Operating Room.
• Maintain sterilization of equipment and instrumentation.
• Meet continuing education requirements of 15 CEU's per year.

Skills

Knowledge in the use of cleaning/sterilization/disinfections of equipment

Desire to work within an Operating Room setting

BLS required

Education

Completion of a Certified Surgical Tech program preferred

Current New York State LPN license eligible
