Doctors Medical Center of Modesto is seeking an Operating Room Technician to support the OR team during night shifts in Labor & Delivery. You will assist the RN/MD, provide basic care within scope and participate in perioperative tasks under supervision.
The role requires completion of an OR technician training program or equivalent military/hospital training, plus at least one year of acute care and OR/OB experience, and good English communication skills.

Reporting to the Charge Nurse/Shift Manager of the assigned area, the Operating Room Technician performs duties under the direction of the WCC OR Supervisor/Registered Nurse (RN). Responsible for providing high quality individualized basic care activities within the scope of practice. The WCC OR Technician is an individual who has received basic education and training to qualify him/her to function in delineated areas of patient care in the Operating Room as an assistant to the RN/MD (surgeon). Consults with Clinical Manager and Department Director as necessary.
Minimum Education: High School diploma preferred.
Minimum Experience/Skills: Completion of formal OR Technician training program, or participation in; Hospital-based OR Technician training program or military OR tech training, minimum one-year experience in an acute care setting, one-year experience in OR/OB, ability to communicate effectively in English (verbally and in writing).
