Job summary

Southern NH Medical Center, Nashua, NH, is seeking a part-time Surgical Technician certified for ambulatory surgery. You will prep sterile instrumentation, assist the surgical team, and support intra-operative and case closure processes under RN supervision.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Surgical Technologist program, TS-C or CST certification, current BLS, NH tech registration, and strong fine motor skills for precise instrument handling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program is required.
• TS-C or CST certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.
• New Hampshire Medical Technologist registration required (unless NH license held).
• Frequent use of fine motor and sensory skills.

Responsibilities

• Respond appropriately to emergency situations.
• Convey detailed or important spoken instructions to patients, physicians, clinical staff, families and other employees accurately, loudly and/or quickly.
• Stand for prolonged periods of time.
• Hear spoken communication from team members, who may be wearing masks.
