United Surgical Partners International (USPI) is hiring a Full-Time Surgical Tech for Maple Lawn Surgery Center in Maryland. The role involves scrubbing for procedures, maintaining sterile fields, and assisting with instrument sterilization, with emphasis on teamwork and patient-centered care.

Qualifications include a Surgical Technician Program (or equivalent), High School Diploma/GED, and state-center certification as required. Prior ambulatory surgery center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Certification as required by state and/or center
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred
• Must possess a strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
• Ability to quickly adapt to changing condition of the patient when needed
• Must excel in teamwork and possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, engage with patients, and coordinate with physicians

Responsabilités

Licensed by the State of Maryland, we specialize in a wide range of procedures including pain management, orthopedics, podiatry, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, spine, and sports medicine. The Surgical Tech scrubs for surgical procedures and also assists sterile processing by decontaminating, processing and sterilizing surgical instruments and medical equipment. This individual maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center.

Surgical Tech experience is required for this role.

Pay Range: $25.02/hr. - $38.09/hr.

Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications, certifications and experience.
