Job summary

Potomac View Surgery Center is recruiting a Certified Surgical Tech to scrub and assist in orthopedic procedures. The role maintains sterile technique, prepares instruments and supplies, and supports the surgical team. The position emphasizes weekday coverage with no holidays, weekends, nights, or calls.

Qualified candidates hold a Surgical Technician certification, a high school diploma, and at least 2 years in orthopedics; ambulatory center experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification as Surgical Technician.
• 2+ years of ORTHO experience; ambulatory surgical center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Certified Surgical Tech at Potomac View Surgery Center

The Certified Surgical Tech scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Maintains a sterile field during surgical procedures. Prepares supplies, instruments, and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives, and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; completion of a Surgical Technician Program and/or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Certification in Surgical Technician
• Experience 2+ years in ORTHO
• Previous experience in an ambulatory surgical center is strongly preferred

Pay Range: Min-$28.96-41.99. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's qualifications and experience.
