UMass Memorial Health Marlborough is seeking a Surgical First Assistant to provide primary assistance to the surgeon during procedures. • 3 years' experience in a hospital-based surgical service.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, customer‑service, and communication skills, or an equivalent combination of the above.

Hiring Range: $28.77 - $46.74

Schedule Details: Monday through Friday, On Call – Required, Weekends – Every Fourth Weekend

Scheduled Hours: 6:54-3:15 or 9:00-5:30

Shift: 1 – Day Shift, 8 Hours (United States of America)

Hours: 32

To provide primary assistance to the surgeon during a surgical procedure. The role of a Surgical First Assistant requires active participation during the procedure, providing exposure, hemostasis, tying or sewing, tissue handling, and other functions as assigned or determined by the primary surgeon. Tasks may include functioning as a scrub tech as needed.
