Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Certified Sub Arc Machine Operator to perform welding functions in the fabrication of steel structures. The ideal candidate will have experience with various welding processes and will ensure quality standards are met in a safe working environment. This position is based in Houma, LA, and offers a range of benefits including health insurance and 401(k) options.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified sub Arc Machine Operator.
• Must pass a written and practical welding test.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, occasionally 50-75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate welding machine for various processes.
• Perform welding in a safe and efficient manner.
• Maintain quality of welding that can pass NDT testing.
