Magellan Health seeks a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist to coach and develop strength and conditioning programs at Vance AFB, OK. You will collaborate with medical and leadership teams to enhance performance, wellness, and injury prevention for federal personnel.
You will design individualized plans and report any medical concerns to higher care. Requirements include a Bachelor's in Exercise Science or Kinesiology, 3+ years of coaching experience with high-demand groups, NSCA CSCS,
Will coach Federal government/military personnel to implement productive physical conditioning programs specifically designed in alignment with job requirements to enhance their physical performance, promote wellness, and reduce injury risk. Collaborates with medical, athletic training, and leadership teams to support recovery, conditioning, and overall wellness. Will report participant's new or undiagnosed medical conditions to higher levels of medical care as required. Designs and delivers individualized strength and conditioning programs to optimize physical performance and to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injury.
Salary Minimum: $45,655
Salary Maximum: $68,485
This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Actual pay will be adjusted based on an individual's skills, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position may be eligible for short-term incentives as well as a comprehensive benefits package.
