Pride Health is seeking a Sterile Tech to join a team in Tulsa OK. This is 13 weeks of contract with possible extension.

Shift: Days 8x5 (40 hours)

Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Contract Length: Approximately 13 weeks + possible extension

Pay: $1400/week

Position Summary:

The Sterile Processing Technician supports patient safety and operating room efficiency by performing critical tasks in decontamination, sterilization, and distribution of instruments and supplies. This role ensures regulatory compliance and upholds quality standards through proper use of sterilization equipment, record-keeping, and adherence to infection prevention guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Decontaminate, process, sterilize, and distribute surgical instruments and supplies
• Validate sterilization equipment with mechanical and biological monitors
• Package items in compliance with manufacturer’s instructions for use (IFUs)
• Maintain cleanliness in all work areas and ensure appropriate storage of sterile supplies
• Utilize computerized tray/instrument tracking systems (if applicable)
• Provide and document on-call support per department/facility policy
• Assist in transporting sterilized instruments and removing soiled case carts
• Respond to surgery department requests and emergencies during regular hours
• Support department preparation for regulatory surveys and inspections

Required Experience & Skills:

• Minimum Experience: 6 months in sterile processing (1+ year travel experience preferred)
• Basic computer skills required
• Strong attention to infection prevention, safety, and regulatory compliance
• Team player with good communication and customer service skills

Education & Certifications:

• Required: High School Diploma or GED
• Certification: CRCST or CSPDT required and BLS

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
