Job summary

Regions Hospital is seeking a Certified Ambulatory Instrument Processing Technician to join our sterile processing team in Saint Paul and Woodbury, MN. The role covers decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments, as well as ordering surgical supplies and coordinating instrument repair.

The ideal candidate will have CRCST or SPD Technician certification and knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation. This is a union 1.0 FTE day shift position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be certified as CRCST or SPD Technician through CBSPD or IAHCSMM.
• One or two years of experience in a surgical supply and/or surgery department preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform decontamination, preparation, packing and sterilization of instruments.
• Assemble case picks and sterilize instruments.
• Order surgical supplies and coordinate repair of instruments as needed.
