Job summary

TALENT Software Services is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our medical support team. You will decontaminate, sterilize, inspect, and assemble surgical instruments according to policy and infection control standards to ensure instruments are ready for clinical use.

Your responsibilities include maintaining documentation, managing instrument sets, updating sterilization methods, and supporting new staff during orientation in a fast-paced surgical services unit with Day and Evening

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment following policy guidelines.
• Inspect instruments for integrity, functionality, and cleanliness before assembly.
• Maintain accurate instrument sterilization documentation and organize the decontamination area.
• Update instrument sets and methods of sterilization; estimate supply usage and request orders as needed.
• Support and mentor the integration of new employees into the workgroup.
