Job summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital in Virginia is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to ensure instruments are cleaned, sterilized and prepared for surgeries. You will work with nurses and surgeons to support safe, efficient operations in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires CSCST certification, BCLS within 30 days of start, and availability for nights (11p–7:30a) on weekdays and weekends as needed. Henrico Doctors' Hospital offers comprehensive benefits and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (CRCST) Certified Registered Central Service Technician required
• Possess the ability to work Nights, 11p - 7:30am, Monday - Friday and rotating weekends

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, disinfecting, sterilizing, and organizing surgical instruments and supplies following safety standards
• Monitoring sterilization cycles, documenting results, and resolving issues promptly to deliver on our commitment to safe, high-quality care
• Preparing and organizing instrument trays and surgical rooms based on the daily schedule and procedural needs
• Safely handling and disposing of biohazardous materials while keeping the work area clean and organized
• Working closely with nurses and surgeons to anticipate needs and support smooth, efficient surgeries

Job Summary And Qualifications
As a Sterile Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in delivering safe, high-quality surgical care by making sure every instrument is thoroughly cleaned, sterilized, and ready when needed.
