Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
• CRCST or CSPDT Certification required.
• Six (6) months of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, decontaminates, inspects, assembles, and wraps or packages supplies and instruments using proper techniques and procedures.
• Knowledge of packaging for sterilization to promote successful outcomes.
• Understands and applies FDA guidelines for reprocessing of single-use devices when allowed.
• Sterilizes supplies and instruments using prescribed methods (e.g. steam, gas plasma Sterrad).
• Operates washer/decontaminator per department policy and procedure.
