Job summary

Carondelet St. Marys Hospital is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to perform task-based processing of surgical instruments. You will work with advanced equipment and coordinate with the surgical team to ensure sterile, complete instrumentation for procedures.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, and CBSPD/IAHCSMM certification. Experience in sterile processing is preferred, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS and IAHCSMM/CBSPD certification required.
• One year of sterile processing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments using standard processes.
• Assemble and deliver surgical/interventional case carts.
• Restock materials and support collaboration with surgical teams.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
