Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department experience preferred.
• Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification required; CBSPD/CRCST/CSPDT required.
• Ability to read instructions, learn terminology and maintain certification.

Responsibilities

• Decontaminate, clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment.
• Prepare and package instrument sets according to procedures.
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and completeness.
• Operate sterilization equipment and monitor sterilization processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection prevention and safety standards.
• Ensure instruments and equipment are available and ready to support patient care.
