Oviedo Medical Center is seeking a Certified Sterile Processing Technician to support patient safety by ensuring instruments are clean, sterile, and ready for procedures. Join a trusted HCA Healthcare team dedicated to respectful, compassionate care.

In this role you will sterilize instruments, manage equipment and supplies, and collaborate with surgical staff to meet daily schedules. Prior CRCST or CSPDT certification and BLS within 30 days are required.

Formación

• CRCST or CSPDT certification required.
• BLS/CPR must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsabilidades

• Clean, inspect, assemble, and sterilize surgical instruments and trays to ensure sterility and readiness.
• Manage sterilization equipment and maintain accurate records for safety and infection prevention.
• Prepare customized surgical sets and case carts per daily schedules and procedure needs.
• Manage inventory and supplies in OR storage and specialty lockers in collaboration with the surgical team.
• Respond quickly to instrument requests during surgeries and assist with urgent equipment needs.
