Job summary

Zaddy Solutions is seeking an Equipment Processing Tech / Certified in Gratiot, OH to support sterile processing in a Forbes-top hospital community setting.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and certification in Sterile Processing (or ability to obtain within two years), plus knowledge of medical terminology. Shifts vary with weekends/holidays; benefits include medical, dental, life, PTO and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified in Sterile Processing and Distribution or obtain within two years of employment.
• Knowledgeable of medical terminology.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, disinfects, and terminally sterilizes instruments and equipment.
• Assembles all components of trays used within area of responsibility.
• Keeps equipment coordinator informed of problems with equipment and instruments.
• Uses sterilization processes including steam, Sterrad and Steris.
• Maintains event related sterility according to procedure.
• Understands decontamination and sterilization processes for instruments and equipment used hospital-wide.
• Understands instruments and instrument trays used daily and their maintenance.
• Uses Impress Instrument Tracking System in each area.
