Top Echelon LLC invites you to join a Forbes top 100 hospital team in Gratiot, OH as an Equipment Processing Tech / certified professional. The role focuses on cleaning, sterilizing, and assembling instrumentation for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

You will operate Sterrad/steam sterilization, maintain equipment, and ensure sterility while supporting a collaborative patient care environment. Relocation assistance is available.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certified in Sterile Processing and Distribution or obtain within two years of employment.
• Knowledgeable of medical terminology.

Mansioni

• Cleans, disinfects, and terminally sterilizes instruments and equipment.
• Assembles all components of trays used within area of responsibility.
• Keeps equipment coordinator informed of problems with equipment and instruments.
• Uses steam, Sterrad and Steris sterilization processes.
• Maintains event-related sterility according to procedure.
• Understands the decontamination and sterilization process for hospital instruments.

What they’re looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Certified in Sterile Processing and Distribution or obtain within two years of employment.
• Knowledgeable of medical terminology.

Hours and compensation potential:

• Full time position. Shifts are varied and there is rotating weekends and holidays.
• The range is between $18.50hr-$25.00ht per year depending on experience.
• Full benefits package including(Medical, Dental, Life, PTO) and relocation assistance.

What you’ll be doing:

• Cleans, disinfects, and terminally sterilizes instruments and equipment. Knowledgeable of the function, operation, and maintenance of instrumentation and equipment utilized for the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Demonstrates knowledge required to accurately assemble all components of trays used within area of responsibility.
• Keeps equipment coordinator informed of any problems or suspected problems with the various pieces of equipment and instruments in their assigned area.
• Uses various sterilization processes that are in place including steam, Sterrad and Steris.
• Maintains event related sterility according to procedure.
• Demonstrates understanding of the decontamination and sterilization process of instruments and equipment used throughout the hospital.
• Demonstrates an understanding of instruments and instrument trays used on a daily basis and the maintenance of those instruments and instrument trays.
• Demonstrates the correct use of Impress Instrument Tracking System in each area.
