Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View, affiliated with United Surgical Partners International (USPI), is seeking a Full-Time Certified Sterile Processing Technician. The role cleans, sterilizes, and prepares all surgical instruments and trays for cases in a busy multispecialty center serving Northern Suffolk, VA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification as a Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician required or preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ Instrument Room experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
• Responsible for all departmental functions in support of USPI’s mission, vision, and facility goals.
• Establishes effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.

Bon Secours Surgery Center at Harbour View is seeking a Full-Time Certified Sterile Processing Technician.We are a busy multispecialty surgery center serving Northern Suffolk and an affiliate of United Surgical Partners International (USPI).USPI’s mission is to care for each patient and their family as if they were our own. Each patient, each family, each and every time.

The Certified Sterile Processing Technologist cares for and maintains all surgical instrumentation and sets up supplies and instruments for surgery cases.He/she is responsible for all departmental functions in support of USPI’s mission, vision, and facility goals. This position establishes effective working relationships with all constituencies including patients, physicians, employees, volunteers and vendors.

• Experience with all types of sterilizers
