Job summary

Vail Resorts is looking for Certified Snowboard Instructors to teach snowboarding to guests during the 2026/27 winter season. Instructors will provide group and private lessons while ensuring a safe and fun learning environment for guests of all ages. Responsibilities include supporting ski school operations and engaging directly with guests. Positions are available both full-time and part-time, with a starting wage ranging from $21.00 to $64.34 per hour depending on experience and incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum PSIA/AASI Instructor Level 1 certification or ISIA equivalent.
• Fluent in English.
• Comfortable working with guests of all ages.

Job Specifications

• Starting wage: $21.00 per hour – $64.34 per hour (base salary plus incentives)
• Employment type: Winter seasonal 2026/2027

Job Requirements

• Fluent in English
• Comfortable working with guests of all ages, including children aged 3 and older
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and meet minimum scheduling requirements
• Ability to complete training and meet minimum skill, guest‑service, and safety standards
