Lithia Motors, Inc in Thousand Oaks is seeking a Certified Smog Check Inspector & Repair Technician to perform California Smog Check inspections and emissions testing per BAR requirements. Requires 1+ year automotive tech experience and CA Smog Inspector/Repair licenses; includes a 5-day schedule with Sundays and a rotating weekday off, paying $17.00-$62.00 per flat rate hour.

Qualifications

• Perform California Smog Check inspections and emissions testing following BAR requirements.
• Complete vehicle inspections, maintenance, and automotive repairs based on experience and skill level.
• Diagnose and repair emissions-related failures and other vehicle concerns so vehicles can pass Smog Check.
• Follow manufacturer, dealership, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Work with Service Advisors and other technicians to provide a great customer experience.
• 1+ years of prior automotive technician experience.
• Current California Smog Check Inspector and Smog Check Repair Technician licenses required.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residence.
