Job summary

Findlay Kia of Las Vegas is hiring experienced Certified Service Technicians to perform diagnostics, maintenance and repairs on Kia and Hyundai vehicles in a fast-paced dealership environment. You will work with a team to deliver timely service, document work in CDK and AutoLive, and maintain safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes strong teamwork, communication, and the ability to meet customer needs while adhering to manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of or possession of relevant automotive certifications and prior experience working at an automotive dealership.
• Preference given to candidates with specific experience working on Kia and/or Hyundai vehicles.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Must provide own tools necessary for service technician duties.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and current automobile insurance coverage.
• Clean driving record with no violations that would affect insurability.
• Experience with CDK and AutoLive dealership software systems is considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently perform the work specified on the repair order in accordance with dealership standards and procedures.
• Conduct test drives and evaluate vehicle components and systems using advanced diagnostic tools and specialized service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair various automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, and more.
• Maintain clear and direct communication with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about any additional services required, providing accurate time estimates for such repairs.
• Carry out warranty repairs following manufacturer specifications and quality guidelines to ensure compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Perform accurate diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on Kia and Hyundai vehicles to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to provide timely and efficient service to customers.
• Utilize dealership management systems such as CDK and AutoLive to document work and communicate with service advisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company standards.
