Job summary

Navra is seeking a Certified School Nurse (CSN) to join a Wheeling, Illinois school district for the 2026–2027 school year. The CSN will support 3 elementary buildings and 1 middle school, with hours 8:30-3:30, and occasional 8:00-3:00 at the middle school.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing services to students in accordance with state regulations and district policies.
• Assess, monitor, and manage student health needs, including chronic medical conditions and emergency care.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Develop and maintain individualized healthcare plans and emergency action plans.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, parents, and healthcare providers to support student well-being.
• Maintain accurate health records and documentation.
• Participate in IEP and 504 meetings as appropriate and provide health-related recommendations.

Navra is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified School Nurse (CSN) to join a supportive school district in Wheeling, Illinois for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity for both experienced school nurses and qualified new graduates who are passionate about promoting student health, safety, and academic success.

• Position: Certified School Nurse (CSN)
• School Year: 2026–2027
• Caseload and Hours: Supporting 3 elementary buildings and 1 middle school building and assisting RNs/IEP needs within each building; hours are from 8:30-3:30 with occasional 8:00-3:00 if needed at the middle school building. Part-time availability will also be considered!

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing services to students in accordance with state regulations and district policies.
• Assess, monitor, and manage student health needs, including chronic medical conditions and emergency care.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work onsite (virtual candidates are not being considered).
