Job summary

Catapult Learning, a division of FullBloom, is seeking a Certified School Counselor for Jefferson Parish, Louisiana. This part-time role focuses on counseling students’ behavioral, personal, emotional, and social development within a safe, inclusive school environment.

Schedule is two 6-hour days and one 3-hour administrative day (15 hours total). Pay is USD 33.00 per hour, with a robust benefits suite, opportunities for professional development, and support for your well-being.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in counseling or related field.
• Experience working with high school students desired.
• Scheduled hours: The schedule is two 6 hour days in the school and one administrative 3 hour day for meetings etc. Total of 15 hours.

• Nurture student potential through personalized, small-group, and classroom counseling, focusing on academic, emotional, behavioral, or developmental needs.
• Conduct learning assessments to reveal students' strengths and areas for growth, informing referrals as needed.
• Empower parents and school staff by connecting them with community resources that align with students' unique needs.
• Ensure administrative excellence by completing accurate, efficient paperwork.
• Stay updated on field trends to enhance guidance and support for students.
• Foster trust and reliability by adhering to the Counseling Policy Manual, funding guidelines, and school procedures.
