Granite School District seeks a reliable School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school, field trips, and extended trips. The role requires ensuring passenger safety, vehicle cleanliness, and timely attendance.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, reporting mechanical issues, supervising attendants, and implementing safety drills while maintaining calm, professional communication with students and staff.

Formación

• Attain CDL with passenger and school bus endorsements.
• Maintain a safe driving record as shown by MVR.
• Complete new driver training within 90 days of hire.
• Complete state requirements for Learner's Permit.
• Complete behind-the-wheel training.
• Pass driving assessment.
• Pass the State DOT drug screening and physical.

Responsabilidades

• Operate various school buses and transport students safely.
• Ensure bus is clean and mechanically sound.
• Monitor and model appropriate behavior and intervene when necessary.
• Perform pre- and post-trip safety inspections, including fluids check.
• Complete all required forms and paperwork.
• Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication with students and staff.
• Operate wheelchair lift and properly secure students.
• Conduct safety drills and supervise attendants.
