Job summary

Oceanside Unified School District is seeking a School Bus Driver for a 7-hour/day, 11-month position in the Transportation Department. Under supervision, you will transport students on designated routes and on special trips, ensuring safety and comfort. Daily vehicle inspections and cleaning are required.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, a valid CA Class A or B license with passenger and air brake endorsements, and school bus driver certifications. CPR/First Aid may be required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Clean driving record and valid California driver license.
• Ability to operate a school bus safely and follow district policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate a school bus on designated routes to transport students safely and efficiently.
• Perform daily safety inspections and cleaning duties on the vehicle.
• Assist in loading and unloading students and supervise orderly conduct.
• Maintain accurate trip records and report any issues to supervisors.
