Job summary

La Mesa RV in Albuquerque, NM is seeking an experienced RV technician to repair coach and appliance related problems within dealership standards. The role requires manufacturer product-specific training and the ability to work across multiple RV systems.

You will diagnose malfunctions, order parts with the parts department, document work, attend training, and ensure vehicles are clean and safe for customers. Pre-employment screenings apply; RV Certification is required.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment background and drug screenings.
• RV certification is required.
• Familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations such as hazardous waste disposal; OSHA Right-to-Know.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory time allowances and standards.
• Diagnoses cause of malfunction.
• Examines vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Advises service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be made or if estimate is not accurate.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts availability and price.
• Saves and tags parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Documents work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Keeps shop area neat and clean.
• Attends manufacturer-sponsored training classes.
