The ideal candidate holds an RRT credential with NBRC, potential licensure in the state (or eligibility) within 6 months, and BLS. ACLS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate's degree in respiratory therapy from an accredited program required.
• Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy preferred.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required.
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner or eligibility for licensure; licensure within 6 months.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physician-prescribed respiratory treatments and document in EMR.
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment.
• Administer patient care within scope of practice.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards and quality assurance guidelines.
