Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist in New Jersey to provide comprehensive respiratory care under supervision. The role involves evaluating patients, administering therapies, operating ventilators and ensuring documentation in EPIC.

The position requires an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program, an associate’s degree, and NJ licensure/certifications. Starting pay is disclosed, with full-time benefits and opportunities for growth within the department.

Formación

• Graduate of an AMA approved Respiratory Care program.
• Associate's degree.
• Comprehensive knowledge of all clinical aspects of Respiratory Care.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in diagnosis, treatment and management of pulmonary disorders per physician prescription.
• Perform cardiopulmonary evaluation, monitoring and education for patients and families.
• Operate and monitor respiratory equipment and life-support systems.
• Record all therapy data and patient responses in EPIC EMR.
• Respond to emergency and trauma codes and participate in rapid response.
• Administer gases, ventilation support, airway care and related therapies as prescribed.
