Job summary

Medical City Alliance, part of HCA Healthcare, is seeking a Certified Respiratory Therapist in the Fort Worth, TX area. Responsibilities include respiratory assessments, ventilator management, NIV support, nebulizer treatments, oxygen therapy and blood gas interpretation.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited respiratory program and current RCP license in Texas; NBRC CRT credentials and BLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable; new graduates welcomed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Respiratory Program.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory assessment, reassessment and care planning for respiratory patients.
• Manage ventilators and BiPAP/CPAP as prescribed.
• Provide Nebulizer/MDI treatments and administer oxygen therapy.
• Perform blood gas interpretation and EKG as part of patient monitoring.

What qualifications you will need:

Education/Skills:

• Graduate from an Accredited Respiratory Program

Experience:

• Will accept new graduates

Licenses, Registrations and/or Certifications:

• Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license with the state of Texas.
• Active CRT credentials by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire from an HCA approved vendor.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 90 days from an HCA approved vendor.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 120 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) required within 120 days of hire if working in NICU.
