• Proficiency with appraisal software, MLS systems, and standard office productivity tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Reliable transportation for property inspections throughout the Charlotte Metro and surrounding areas.
• Ability to manage deadlines independently in a hybrid environment while collaborating effectively with mentors and administrative staff.

Role Description The Certified Residential Real Estate Appraiser is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Charlotte Metro area, with a combination of field work and remote work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include inspecting residential properties, gathering and analyzing market data, and preparing USPAP-compliant appraisal reports for lending, sales, and other valuation purposes. The appraiser will research comparable sales, evaluate neighborhood and market trends, and apply appropriate valuation methodologies to develop credible opinions of value. The role involves managing a personal work queue, meeting deadlines, communicating clearly with clients and internal team members, and using digital tools and appraisal software to maintain accurate records. The position requires adherence to regulatory standards, participation in ongoing training, and collaboration with mentors and support staff to maintain quality and efficiency.
