The primary duty of a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) is to administer anesthesia and related care during medical procedures, surgeries, or interventions. This includes patient assessment, anesthesia planning and administration, monitoring vital signs, and managing anesthesia levels throughout procedures. CRNAs collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure safe, effective anesthesia care, provide patient education, and maintain detailed records. Upholding ethical standards, adhering to healthcare regulations, and advancing professional skills are essential components of this role.
