Advocate Health's Aurora Medical Center in Sheboygan, WI is seeking a full-time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our anesthesiology team, providing anesthesia services to adult patients in elective and emergency settings.

You will work in a CRNA-led, collaborative environment with 4 physicians and 13 CRNAs, with flexible 8- or 10-hour shifts, call 0-2 per month, and opportunities for mentorship and leadership.

Qualifications

• Active RN and APRN licenses in state(s) of practice.
• NBCRNA board certification as CRNA.
• Active ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by site or role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop anesthesia care plans.
• Administer anesthesia across diverse surgical/procedural settings.
• Monitor patient status during perioperative period.
• Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and nursing staff.
• Participate in post-anesthesia evaluations and recovery planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.

Position Highlights

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting pre-anesthesia assessments and developing individualized anesthesia care plans.
• Administering anesthesia care across a variety of surgical and procedural settings.
• Monitoring patient status throughout the perioperative period.
• Collaborating with anesthesiologists, surgeons, nursing teams, and procedural staff.
• Participating in post-anesthesia evaluations and patient recovery planning.
• Maintaining timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Supporting Advocate Health's commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care.

The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization with departmental specific credentialing from the institution.

Minimum Education and Experience Required

License/Registration/Certification Required: Active RN, and APRN/APRN-FPA/APNP or other APRN license(s) in state(s) of practice, AND Active national board certification as CRNA by nationally certifying board (NBCRNA). Active DEA registration prior to hire Active ACLS, PALS, NRP as required by clinical site/practice and/or role prior to or within 6 months of hire

Education Required: Master’s Degree in Nursing

Experience Required: No experience required. Experienced CRNAs and new graduates are encouraged to apply.
